NAW Senior Project Managers - Job Description

Wind Prospect Group is a leading independent wind energy developer with a proven track record in the development, construction, operation and due diligence of wind farm projects worldwide.

We are seeking to build a strong team of experienced developers, engineers and analysts to contribute to our growing North American advisory business, and are looking to recruit four-five entrepreneurial and motivated candidates.

Role
The role will include providing technical and commercial due diligence services to existing and new clients, and your resume should include experience in a similar role. Positions could be based in any of the major wind development regions, depending on qualifications and openings; candidates with electrical or civil engineering experience are particularly welcomed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
3+ years relevant experience (e.g. development / design / construction / operation /due diligence of windfarms or other renewable energy / infrastructure projects)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, thorough and diligent
A proven ability to write clear and accurate reports is essential

Project Manager - Job Description

Company

Since Wind Prospect's first wind farm in 1992 the company has been involved in over 2000MW of permitted capacity and has over 100 employees worldwide.

Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful construction of Wind Farm projects assigned to them from the signing of the project management contract and until the issue of the Taking over Certificate. They shall be responsible for the recording and monitoring the project economy from the signing of the project management contract and until the issue of the Taking over certificate. The Project Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that the project is managed in a safe and professional manner and is undertaken in compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislation, to programme and budget.

Required Skills and Qualifications
This post will require an experienced degree qualified Civil or Electrical engineer, with professional engineering status although not essential. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in managing large multi disciplined projects (not necessary wind farms but previous experience would be beneficial) from initial development, through the pre-construction and construction phases. They will be required to demonstrate considerable experience in tendering, letting and managing of multi disciplined projects. Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
