Wind Prospect works closely with local communities
Our community involvement initiatives include information days,
talks to local clubs and schools, tours to existing wind farm
sites and development of liaison groups.
Through liaison groups, communities have regular opportunities
to input into the development, construction and operations of
the windcluster. In consultation with the community, a broad
array of studies are planned and undertaken.
Prior to submitting a planning application to the local planning
authority, an Environmental Impact Assessment is usually undertaken,
leading to a full Environmental Statement which accompanies
the planning application.
Please visit our Key
Issues page for further information regarding an Environmental
Impact Assessment.
