Wind Prospect has been active in the Irish market since 1998 with
the turnkey construction of Crockahenny Wind Farm in Co. Donegal
(5MW).
Since Crockahenny Windfarm Wind Prospect have completed 17 projects
in Ireland bringing the total constructed capacity to over 235MW.
Our Client list includes many Irish Developers such as South Western
Services, DP Energy, Saorgas Energy, Cronelea Windfarm, Dundalk Institute
of Technology, the Ballycadden Group, Sorne Wind and Carriginamma Windfarm.
We also carry out technical services for financial institutions such as
KBC Bank, IIB Bank and Ernst & Young.
We have experience of grid connections at 20 kV, 38 kV and 110 kV and
have worked with all major turbine suppliers. Wind Prospect offer a range
of services from technical advice and due diligence work to owners engineer
roles, and grid integration advice, as well as project management services.

Canada and North America
Wind Prospect Inc., the group’s Canadian subsidiary, was established in early 2006 in response to the growing demand for clean renewable energy across Canada.
From our main office in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and other office
in Windsor, Ontario, the company’s seven staff members are working
to develop a portfolio of sites in Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
In Ontario the focus is on smaller sites, to take advantage of
the Ontario Power Authority’s Standard Offer Contract program.
We are also actively pursuing a range of development opportunities
in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador.
The company brings valuable experience and development success from its parent company in the UK, Wind Prospect Group, and is working closely with local landowners, businesses, municipalities and communities to maximise local economic benefits.
