Morris Makes His Move
Chris Morris, the man who established and led the development
of PowerGen’s wind business is to join the Board of Wind Prospect
as Commercial Director. He will take up his new appointment
on 1st October 2003.
Wind Prospect’s Managing Director
Dr Euan Cameron said:

reputation in the industry and exceptional commercial experience
is a vital addition to our senior management team.
It marks a step change for Wind Prospect. Having grown
organically over eight years to a fully integrated company

in all three countries.

Chris Morris – Brief CV
Chris has spent 30 years in the power industry in scientific,
engineering and commercial roles. The last 10 years have been
focused on commercial roles in renewable energy, most recently
as general manager of one of the UK’s largest wind energy companies.
Chris is a member of the UK Government’s Renewables Advisory Board,
responsible to the Minister for Energy, chair of the World Energy
Council’s Renewable Energy Committee, member of Advisory Committee
for Loughborough University's Centre for Renewable Energy & Sustainable
Technologies, and is actively engaged in promoting job creation
from the deployment of renewable energy technologies in the UK.
He holds degrees from the University of Nottingham.
