Wind Prospect in Top 100 Fastest Growing companies

Wind Prospect the international wind energy developer has entered this year's Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100. The well respected league table, published at the weekend for the 11th year, records the growth of Britain's fastest-growing private unquoted companies.

Wind Prospect is mentioned in the early pages and pictured on page 5. Managing Director Euan Cameron said "We need to see many more environmental companies listed in the Fast Track 100 next year if we are going to turn the tide of climate change".

League table criteria from 'The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100':
Now in its eleventh year, The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 annual league table is compiled by Oxford-based research and events company Fast Track. In addition to title sponsor Virgin Group, the league table is co-sponsored by HSBC, Microsoft and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Companies are ranked according to their annual growth rate in sales over the three financial years up to the companies' latest available audited accounts or independently verified financial statements; either from 2003 to 2006, or 2004 to 2007. The table excludes technology companies, which are featured in a separate league table, the Tech Track 100.

Companies had to be registered in the UK, unquoted and ultimate holding companies, not subsidiaries. Companies had to show an increase in sales from penultimate to latest year, and to forecast further sales growth.
