Wind Prospect was appointed by Cumbria Wind Farms to act as
project managers, planning supervisors and site supervisors
for a repowering project at Llangwyryfon, near Aberystwyth,
Ceredigion.
Prior to the re-powering the site consisted of 20 WEG 300
kW machines, which have now been replaced by 11 Vestas V52-850kW
turbines.
Construction started in May 2003, with the site commissioned
later in the same year.
