Wind Prospect are the Owners Engineer for 1 off Vestas V52 in Dundalk Institute of Technology Campus.
Dundalk IT have received grant funding from Sustainable
Energy Ireland for the construction of a single 850 kW turbine
on the campus of the Dundalk IT.
Dundalk is the first large wind turbine to be constructed
on the campus of a third level institution in the world and
the first ‘urban turbine’ in Ireland.
Vestas are providing a turnkey solution with the electrical works being performed by Kirby Group and the civils
works by Alexander Construction.
