The extension to an existing 3 turbine site near Workington in Cumbria has just been completed under Wind Prospect management.

Three Vestas V47-660 kW turbines, owned by Danish investment group K/S Winscales, have been joined by 8 no. V52-850 kW turbines with a 44m hub height.

The 240 hour tests were successfully completed on Saturday 19th Feb. 2005.

The civil engineering works were carried out by Ken Hope Ltd. and the electrical works by Agrilek, both local Cumbrian companies.
