Wind Prospect are the technical advisor for 110 kV Grid
Connection Works at the Kilgarvan site.
Kilgarvan Wind Farm is a 42 MW wind farm in West Cork owned
by SWS Energy. It is connected via a 110 kW tee-d connection
to the ESB National Grid. Vestas are providing a turnkey solution
with Power Engineers as the Balance of Plant contractor.
When completed these V90s will be the largest onshore turbines installed
in Ireland.
Summer 2007 - Construction completed.
